Technical Support: General Information
Answers to most questions that you might have about our products can be found in the help documentation and in the sample programs provided with the product. If you cannot find the answer to your question and need to contact our technical staff, please note the following:
- You must be a REGISTERED user of the product. If you have not yet registered your product, please visit the User Registration section of our web site for details.
- Support must be available for the product in question. If the product has a annual subscription, you must have a valid subscription to receive technical support. For products without an annual subscription, technical support is available for current products only. For older products that have been discontinued, technical support is available for one year from the date after the product has been discontinued. After that, we no longer accept technical inquiries for that product.
- Please send all technical support inquiries to us by email or fax. We do not accept telephone inquiries.
- Please explain the circumstances or conditions under which the problem or question exists. This explanation should be made as clearly and concisely as possible. If it is difficult to explain the problem in writing, please feel free to attach a small sample program that illustrates the problem. Please make sure that all programming not directly related to the issue at hand is eliminated from the program before sending it to us. Compress all sample programs into ZIP compression format before sending them to us.
- We do not provide technical support for the trial versions of our products. We will make every attempt to answer any questions about the trial version so that you can evaluate the product. The trial version cannot be used to build actual applications and under no circumstances can applications built with the trial version be distributed. Technical support is not provided for applications built with the trial version.
